      The physical refining method in the oil refining equipment is also called the distillation deacidification method, that is, the free fatty acids in the crude oil are not neutralized with alkalis, but through the principle of direct steam distillation to reduce the relative volatility of the triglycerides in the oil. A refining method in which much lower free fatty acids and low molecular odor substances are discharged with steam.

Compared with chemical refining method, physical refining method has the following characteristics:

(1) The deacidification tower can directly remove FFA, which can significantly reduce the neutral oil loss, generally as low as 1.05%~1.1%, while the oil loss of alkali refining is higher than 1.4%;


(2) The use of steam stripping can directly obtain high-concentration mixed fatty acids, vitamin E, isoflavones, etc., which is not only conducive to the utilization of these high value-added products, but also greatly reduces the consumption of acid and alkali, waste water discharge and environmental pollution. problem;


(3) The total refining rate of oil with acid-base <14 is higher than that of alkali refining, the FFA content of the product can be lower than 0.1%, and the flavor is good;


(4) Deacidification and deodorization can be completed by the same set of oil refining equipment, saving investment;


(5) Generally suitable for oils with low colloidal content, such as olive oil, palm oil, palm kernel oil, peanut oil, sunflower oil, etc., but used for soybean oil and rapeseed oil with high phosphorus content and difficult to remove And so on, there are still unsolved problems such as aftertaste and color reversion;


(6) The crude oil pretreatment requirements are relatively high, and the production cost partially offsets the high yield of neutral oil in a sense.
