(3) Shelling: use shelling machine, fan, tea shell separator, etc. to separate the shell kernels after passing the windmill, and take off the seed shells.

(4) Embryo rolling: the separated tea kernels are rolled embryos by the rolling machine, and the tea kernels after rolling embryos are cracked, which greatly increases the internal and external surface area of the tea kernels, which is convenient for absorbing heat and regulating moisture, and rolling the embryos at the same time The tea kernels of different sizes can be pressed to a thickness of 0.3-0.5 cm, so that the phenomenon of inconsistent rawness and cookedness can be reduced during the frying process.

(5) Steaming and frying: Generally, steaming and frying in a flat-bottomed frying pan. When the embryo is exposed to oily and hot to the touch, the temperature is about 115~125℃ and the moisture content is 3%. The whole process of camellia oil processing is a key process. (6) Squeezing: It is more appropriate to use a camellia seed oil press with a speed of 40 to 42 revolutions per minute.

(7) Filtration: Generally, a plate and frame oil filter is used to filter, and the filtered camellia seed oil is clear and transparent, and the obtained oil is Maocha oil.

Maocha oil has a high water content, and the color and smell are not normal enough. It can only meet the food requirements after being refined. Camellia oil is generally refined by alkali refining, which can remove acid, impurities, and some pigments and odors.
