Introduction of a variety of oil-bearing cash crops

September 16, 2021

 oil-bearing cash crops

       1. Soybeans

Soybean is an excellent high-protein oil, with an oil content of 15.5%-22.7% and a protein content of 30%-45%. Soybean has become an important vegetable oil in the world, mainly produced in the United States, Brazil, Argentina, China, India, etc., and is one of the world's main sources of edible oil and vegetable protein (edible and feed).

The content of unsaturated fatty acid in soybean oil has reached more than 60%, among which the content of linoleic acid is 51.7%, and the content of linolenic acid is 2%-10%. Therefore, soybean oil has quite high nutritional value, but its stability is poor.

  2. rapeseed

Rapeseed is the only high-oil crop that can be cultivated all over the world. It is one of the main oil crops and nectar crops in my country. Its grain is one of the main varieties of oil and fat raw materials. Cultivated throughout the country, it is divided into winter rape and spring rape. Its planting area accounts for more than 40% of the country's total oil crops, and its output accounts for more than 30% of the country's total oil crops. It ranks second in the world, with an oil content of 33%-48%.

  3. cottonseed

Cotton seed is the seed of cotton, accounting for about 60%-62% of the quality of lint cotton. Whole cottonseed seeds contain 15%-25% oil, cotton kernels contain 28%-39% oil, and 30%-40% protein.

  4. peanuts

is native to South America and is an important soft oil with high oil content and shell. The peanut kernel contains 65%-75%, the kernel contains 40%-51% oil and 25%-31% protein. It is one of the important oil and protein resources.

  5. sunflower seeds

is native to Mexico and can be divided into two types: edible sunflower and oil sunflower. Ordinary sunflower seeds are large, with 29%-30% oil, 30-40% hull, and 40-65% oil in the kernel. Most oil sunflowers are small black seeds, and the oil content of the whole seeds has reached 45%-54%. The hull content can be as low as about 22%, and the kernel contains 21%-31% protein.

Sunflower seed oil is an excellent edible oil, known as "nutrition oil". It contains more unsaturated fatty acids and vitamin E, which is easily absorbed by the human body. The content of linoleic acid has reached 70%, which can reduce human cholesterol. content. Sunflower oil can be used to produce margarine, mayonnaise and salad oil.

   6.  sesame

Sesame is one of the oldest edible oils in the world, and is known as the "Queen of Oils". Its characteristic candle has an oil content of 45%-63% and a protein content of 19-31%. Sesame oil is one of the few vegetable oils that can be eaten without "J degree refining". It contains 43% oleic acid and 43% linoleic acid, which has high nutritional value. Due to the role of natural antioxidant sesamol, the chemical properties of sesame oil are stable. The small mill sesame oil prepared by the water-substitution method in my country has a strong fragrance and more distinctive features.

   7.  rice bran

It is a by-product of rice processing, and every 100kg of brown rice processed can produce 5-8kg of rice bran. Rice bran contains 14%-24% oil. Rice bran oil, as the "nutritional fat" of cereals, has the effect of significantly lowering the content of serum cholesterol. Since rice bran contains a very active lipase, it is easy to spoil the rice bran and affect the quality of the oil. Therefore, the use of rice bran to make oil sometimes requires pretreatment to inactivate the activity of the lipase.

It is worth noting that rice bran generally contains 3.5%-7% rice germ, and rice germ itself has a higher oil content, about 25%-37%, which can be used alone for food or oil production.

   8. Camellia seeds

Camellia oleifera is one of the woody oils that are produced in southern my country. It is planted in India, Vietnam, Indonesia and other countries. Camellia seeds with shell, containing 50%-72% kernel, whole seed dry base contains 30%-40% oil, kernel contains 40%-60% oil and protein 8%-9%. Camellia seed oil is a non-drying oil, contains a lot of unsaturated fatty acids, is a good medicine, nutritious edible oil.

   9. Tung Seed

Tung tree abounds in my country and is a woody oil plant. Tung oil seeds contain 51%-71% kernels, tung seeds contain 32%-41.9% oil, contain 20.5%-27.7% protein, and tung kernels contain 50%-62% oil. Tung oil contains 77%-86% of alpha-tellonic acid, which is dry and toxic, and cannot be eaten. Tung oil is a well-known special product in my country, a traditional export product, and has a wide range of industrial uses.

  10.  oil palm fruit

Oil palm, also known as palm, is a perennial woody oil plant in the palm family. Oil palm fruit consists of two parts: fresh pulp (45%-50% oil on a dry basis) and palm kernel (48%-55% on a dry basis). It is known as the "World Oil King". The characteristic of oil palm kernel oil production is the use of two extraction methods, that is, the skin oil is first extracted and then the kernel oil is produced from the kernels. Both are edible after being refined.

Palm kernel oil contains more than 80% saturated fatty acids, and skin oil also contains more than 50% saturated fatty acids. Both are semi-solid fats, with good stability, high smoke point, good storage and high nutritional value (rich in vitamin E) , Biotin A, sitosterol and phospholipids, etc.). Palm kernel is an excellent raw material for preparing cocoa butter and margarine. Liquid palm oil is a good oil for frying.

   11.  pepper seeds

Pepper seeds are considered waste by farmers, but the a-linolenic acid content in the seeds has reached 30%. And a-linolenic acid has the effects of lowering blood lipids, softening blood vessels, strengthening the brain, dredging collaterals and promoting blood circulation. In the early 1990s in the United States, a-linolenic acid was included in the law as a necessary additive for food production.

Prickly ash seeds contain a lot of prickly olein, prickly ash and a large amount of protein, as well as many trace elements such as potassium and manganese. Pepper seed oil can be used as edible oil or industrial oil, with high potassium content and various amino acids. Regular consumption of pepper oil makes people's hair black without falling out, protects teeth, speeds up vision, prevents skin from wrinkling, helps the five internal organs, lowers cholesterol, and has anti-cancer and anti-cancer effects. The prickly ash seeds have a high oil yield. The prickly ash seed kernels after oil extraction can be processed into protein powder or processed into feed additives, and the prickly ash seed shells can be processed into organic fertilizers. No three wastes pollution.

  12. corn germ

Corn germ is the sprout of corn, where there is nourishment. If it is new corn, it is intuitive and can be squeezed out. 70% of the nutrition is there! The corn germ is extracted first, and then the corn germ is squeezed into oil.
